The Elgiz Museum proudly announces a selection of newly displayed works from the collection, focusing on sculpture works and installations. Opening at the same time with the annual Terrace exhibition, this unique assembly of works aim to underline the turbulent times we are in with the beige contours of Kemal Onsoy’s renown oil paintings to this year’s much celebrated artist Erwin Wurm’s aluminum sculpture alongside Stephan Balkenhol’s gigantic wood-carved ‘Big Man’ sculpture, greeting the deconstructed Erard Piano by H. N. Gurel, within a view from Xavier Veilhan’s almost-musical blurry image situated next to Alex Prager’s stunning photograph with no path to follow. The notion of uncertainty and flux is evaluated through Chesterton’s depiction of the color grey.
